Yokohama tires fitted to Toyota Yaris Cross

Yokohama and Toyota continue to expand their cooperation.
Yokohama will equip the recently unveiled Toyota Yaris Cross compact crossover, for which the Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 tires previously fitted to Toyota Corolla, Mazda2, Mitsubishi Mirage, etc. have been homologated.
The Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 features an asymmetric tread pattern for improved handling in a variety of conditions and includes three large center ribs to optimize directional stability, and a zip-style groove to increase wet grip. Like other models in the BluEarth range, the tires also have reduced rolling resistance, which reduces fuel consumption.
On the Yaris Cross, Yokohama tires are fitted in the size 205 / 65R16 95H. Previously, Sumitomo also became the supplier of tires for the new crossover.
