Nokian conducts personnel changes

The Finnish Nokian Tyres has changed heads of several divisions.

Nokian announced a management reshuffle. In particular, Anna Huvenen, senior vice president of Nokian's Northern Europe division, will also lead the North America division, replacing Mark Earle, who has decided to leave the company.

On 1 August, Rudolf Perner was appointed Managing Director of Nokian Tyres GmbH, who will lead the tire company in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, as well as Denmark and the Netherlands. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Arla Foods, a large dairy producer, and at Nokian his goal will be to strengthen the company's position in the Central European market.

In early October, Nokian also replaced the director of Levypyörä, a rim company that is integrated into Nokian Heavy Tyres' heavy equipment tire business. Levypyörä was previously headed by Lars Ojansuu, who, according to Nokian, made a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the integration.

After Ojansuu left, Levypyörä was taken over by Pasi Antinmaa, who is also the plant manager of Nokian Heavy Tyres. “Pasi took part in the integration of the company from the preparation stage to the takeover and, together with Levypyörä employees, was also involved in work on improving the efficiency, quality and safety of production processes, so his appointment was a logical decision,” said Manu Salmi, President of Nokian Heavy Tyres ...
