Achilles Tires

Achilles was founded in 1988 in Indonesia. For several years, the company has been producing tires of fairly good quality, which were very popular in the Asian region. Strong competition from tire manufacturers and a lack of investment did not allow the company to improve the efficiency of its products and increase its export volumes to Europe and America. In 2004, when the company became a subsidiary brand of tire giant Nokian, a new stage of development began.

Thanks to the attraction of investments, production facilities were updated, large-scale scientific and technical research began, which significantly improved the quality and performance of Achilles products. The development of innovations, more progressive production methods and the use of time-tested Nokian technologies have also positively affected the level of produced tires.

One of the advantages of Achilles products is their low cost. This is due to the favorable territorial location of the factories, because Indonesia is the world's largest supplier of natural rubber. Due to being close to the source of raw materials, transportation costs are significantly reduced, which, in turn, reduces the cost of production.

The company is currently the largest tire manufacturer in its region. Tires are supplied in large volumes to the markets of all countries of the world. Their high quality and excellent driving properties comply with international standards, which is confirmed by ISO 9001-2000, SNI 19-17025-2000 certificates.

In the model range of the brand, summer, winter and all-season tires are presented in a large assortment of models produced in various standard sizes. Thanks to this, each driver can choose tires that meet the technical requirements of the car, the operating conditions and the preferred driving style.

Summer and winter tires by Achilles

Achilles summer tires are characterized by excellent performance, ride and acoustic comfort, quality grip and durability. Designed specifically for use in the summer season, the tread patterns ensure driving stability at any speed, easy and responsive vehicle control, effective braking and prevention of aquaplaning. The popular summer tires Achiles ATR Sport2, Achiles Desert Hawk H/T2 and Achiles Multivan provide safe and comfortable driving.

Winter tires by Achilles are distinguished by increased endurance, powerful traction and braking properties, which makes it possible to confidently move on slippery roads, and freely overcome areas with deep snow. Their treads and rubber are maximally adapted to use at low temperatures, and on roads covered with snow and ice. Among winter models, Achilles Winter 101 and Achilles Winter 101+ tires are in special demand.

All-season developments combine the qualities of summer and winter models. They provide comfortable and stable driving on dry, wet and slippery road surfaces. They are characterized by grip stability, braking performance and good aquaplaning and slashing resistance. The best among them are the Achiles 838 A/T, Achiles Desert Hawk A/T and Achiles Desert Hawk X-M/T tires.
