JSC «Kordiant» is one of the leading Russian producers of tires. The holding includes four tire plant and five branches. Company "Kordiant" according to 2012 year produced 21.8% of the total volume of total production on the territory of Russia.

If we consider each segment individually, the production of tyres for passenger cars, auto 18%, amounted to 25% of light truck tires, trucks, agricultural 51.8% 33.5%, industrial 69.3%. As a result, for the year 2012 total volume exceeded 8.5 million tires.

In the year 2013 SHITS peak, which is part of the holding company, received permission to organize a test for the Economic Commission for Europe Regulation No. 117. The test centre has the necessary equipment to test models of tires to the maximum possible speed, efficiency, rolling resistance.

Polygon for testing complex is equipped with modern instrumentation and is equipped with playgrounds for the measurement of external noise from tires and to determine the coupling characteristics of tires on wet surfaces and snow in winter.

In the year 2013 "Kordiant" reduced production tyres on 12%, due to the strategic objectives of the holding. From the product portfolio has been obsolete products included in the lower price segment. In future it is planned to strengthen the position of an average price segment by developing product lines brands Cordiant and the tyre.
