The plant located in the town of TIGAR. Pirot, Serbia, former Yugoslavia, began operations in 1935 as a rezinoehničeskih plant products. Within the framework of this cooperation in Jacksonville was opened the American branch TIGAR-AMERICAS.

Developing cooperation with major tire manufacturers in 1997 year, TIGAR has concluded a long-term agreement on the implementation of joint projects with Michelin, received exclusive rights to supply products TIGAR on the North American market. The factory has passed the quality system adopted by the Michelin factories, received the certificate ISO 9001.
