Bridgestone to stop production of kart tires

Bridgestone has announced that it plans to end production and supply of kart tires from December 31, 2022.
Bridgestone has been developing, manufacturing and supplying kart tires to the Japanese and global markets since 1977. In Japan, the company supplies tires accredited by the Japan Automobile Federation, and abroad, Bridgestone tires have been homologated by the Commission Internationale de Karting, an organization sponsored by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The tires were used for both amateur and professional karting.
The decision to stop supplying kart tires was made by Bridgestone after carefully reviewing its product portfolio and allocating resources in line with the Group's medium-term business strategy.
