The Korean company Hankook Tire announced that it has recently begun supplying OE tires for the Nissan Frontier 2022 pickup truck. The all-season tires Hankook Dynapro HT 265/70 R16 and Dynapro AT2 265/70 R17 are selected for the novelty. Both trim options will be manufactured at Hankook Tire's American plant in Tennessee.
The Hankook Dynapro HT RH12 premium tires provide high wear resistance, improved traction in all weather conditions and low rolling resistance. The model is optimized for high-speed roads. The tread pattern, which includes multiple sharp edges and side lugs, improves grip on snow. The optimized compound increases the mileage of the tire, while the wide contact patch improves traction and handling while reducing rolling resistance.
The Dynapro AT2 tire offers superior all-season performance and strong grip on wet, dry and off-road conditions. The tread pattern also reduces noise and improves ride comfort, while the 3PMSF mark confirms the tire's reliable grip in harsh winter conditions. Dynapro AT2's wide contact patch extends tread life by maintaining even load distribution and uniform wear.
“Nissan Frontier 2022 is committed to providing drivers with versatile on-road and off-road performance, and our Hankook Dynapro HT and Dynapro AT2 tires are perfect for this job,” said Jeongho Park, senior vice president of Hankook Original Equipment Division. "The Dynapro HT model delivers balanced performance on highways, while the Dynapro AT2 delivers on-road comfort combined with off-road performance."
Hankook Tire has supplied OE tires for Nissan since 2013, including popular models such as the Nissan Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra and Rogue.
