Marangoni Tires

Marangoni was founded in 1950 as a company for the restoration (tire retreading), recycling and sale of automobile tires in Italy. Currently, it also has its own production.

In the 1980s, Marangoni entered the European tire retreading market. In the 1990s, the company opens its own production of tire molding, as well as works in the energy market and recycles broken tires. In the 2000s, Marangoni becomes an intercontinental company, opening factories and branches overseas in Brazil and the USA.

Marangoni is engaged in tire retreading, produces tires for passenger cars, truck and industrial tires, manufactures equipment and technologies, and distributes its own products. Marangoni tires are manufactured only in Italy.

Marangoni has factories all over the world. Factories are currently built in Italy, Brazil, Germany and the United States. The production program includes tires for all classes of passenger cars. Their share in production is 94%.

Marangoni tires are supplied not only through retailers, but also through dealerships and technical centers. Restoration services are available through numerous retread facilities. Winter tire models are in high demand and all due to their high performance in winter operation.

Since the founding of the company, the Marangoni brothers have been striving for durability in the production of their tires, which made the name more famous and in demand. The innovation of the founders is to develop a technology for retreading worn tires by welding the tread (now this method is called "hot retreading"). At that time, there was no production of new tires, and the office was engaged in the restoration of old tires. The highly developed north of Italy welcomed the Marangoni novelty with enthusiasm.

The high demand resulted in a shortage of equipment needed to restore worn-out tires, which exacerbated the situation and even threatened with a drop in demand for Marangoni tires. The next step was the production of equipment on our own, so there was an own plant with a tire retreading system. Marangoni was the only company in the world that remanufactured tires of all sizes for all types of cars, both passenger cars and trucks, and had a full production cycle.
