Vredestein announces new tires for the North American market

Apollo Tires, which is bringing the Vredestein brand to the North American market, has announced two new additions to its previously announced lineup. The company will present two new series in the region - the Pinza light truck tires and the Hitrac premium all-season range.

Earlier, the company announced the entry into the regional market of four models of the Vredestein brand - the Vredestein Wintrac Pro winter tire, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro all-weather tire oriented to the wet weather Hypertrac All-Season and the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti / Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R summer model for premium and high-performance cars.

The company has invested $ 30 million in research and development to produce new tires specifically designed for the North American market.

The Pinza range has been designed “to deliver the off-road performance expected from a premium tire without compromising on other performance,” Apollo says. The Pinza tires, which will be available in the market in the fourth quarter of 2020, provide ride comfort and low noise levels, as well as maintain efficiency in wet and winter weather.

The Hitrac range of all-season tires is designed, Apollo says, to "unleash the full potential of North America's most popular sedan and crossover models while maintaining low noise levels and superior ride comfort, making daily commutes even more enjoyable."

The Vredestein brand, acquired by Apollo in 2009, was present in the US market from the 1970s to the early 2000s. It will now be widely recognized as a brand owned by Apollo. Ultimately, this strategy could lead to the opening of its own plant in the United States, the company said.
