Pirelli Unveils the Scorpion MS: The All-Season SUV Tire Built for the Future

We've got exciting news from the international tire giant, Pirelli & C. S.p.A., who have just announced the release of their Scorpion MS, an all-season tire packed with high-performance features and designed specifically for the newest generation of SUVs.

Interestingly, around 75% of all Scorpion MS tires will cater to the rapidly growing electric and hybrid vehicle market. Utilizing Pirelli's proprietary Elect technology, these tires are poised to make a significant impact in the EV sphere.

The Scorpion MS boasts an impressive tread life, making it an appealing choice for U.S. customers who appreciate long-lasting performance. Additionally, Pirelli has designed the Scorpion MS to provide a comfortable, smooth ride, a feature expected to be a hit with the Asian market.

But the Scorpion MS isn't just about longevity and comfort. It's a tire that can handle light off-road use and snowy conditions, reflecting Pirelli's commitment to versatility. The company promises superior grip in both wet and dry environments and a reduced rolling resistance compared to its predecessors, the Scorpion Verde and Scorpion Zero all-season tires.

The electric Maserati Grecale Folgore will come fitted with two Scorpion MS sizes: 255/50R19 on all wheels and 255/45R20 at the front with 295/40R20 at the rear.

And there's more: Pirelli will be offering a run-flat version of the Scorpion MS, along with a model featuring their noise-canceling system. This quiet ride technology will surely be a hit with customers who value serene travel.

Like the rest of the Scorpion family, the new Scorpion MS is designed to handle the weight and unique driving dynamics of EVs and hybrids.

Pricing for the Scorpion MS is yet to be announced, but we'll be sure to update you when we have the details.

The Scorpion MS isn't the only exciting release from Pirelli. At the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed, the tire mogul showcased three new additions to the Pirelli P Zero family—the P Zero E, the P Zero R, and the P Zero Trofeo RS. Also, early last month, Pirelli Tire North America Inc. launched the P Zero AS Plus 3, an ultra-high-performance all-season tire for premium vehicles designed specifically for North American consumers.
