2021 marks the end of one of the longest history of cooperation between a tire company and a football club.
Pirelli CEO Marco Tronchetti Provera has confirmed that for the first time since 1995/96 the Pirelli logo will not be featured on Inter Milan shirts for the first time since the 1995/96 season.
Pirelli has sponsored Inter Milan for a quarter of a century.
According to some reports, Pirelli currently pays around 12 million euros annually for their advertising on jerseys, and the club would like to receive between 25 and 30 million euros annually.
The current contract expires next summer.
