New Gremax studded tires introduced

China's Crowntyre Industrial has unveiled its new Gremax WinterStud GS601 pick-up tire for compact and mid-size cars.

The new Gremax features a directional tread pattern with wide diagonally located grooves that accelerate water and slush drainage. In addition, undulating sipes increase grip in winter conditions, a large center rib improves steering response, and sawtooth block walls increase traction on snowy surfaces. The tire's stud compatibility provides additional traction on ice.

“Our studded tires provide effective braking and stable handling in snow, including melting snow, and minimize the risk of skidding,” the company notes.

The line of winter tires of the Gremax brand, in addition to the novelty, includes passenger cars WinterGrip GM608, WinterGrip GM605 of UHP class, as well as WinterGrip GM607 for crossovers and SUVs. All tires belong to the friction category. The WinterStud GS601 model is available in sizes from 155/80 R13 to 225/50 R16.

Crowntyre was founded in Qingdao in 2006 and the Gremax brand was introduced four years later. Tires are supplied to various regions of the world, including Europe, North and South America, Australia, etc. The company is now presenting its tires of various categories at the virtual exhibition SEMA360.
