Michelin expands CrossGrip tire size range

Michelin is introducing two new sizes of CrossGrip multipurpose all-season tires for backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, telescopic handlers and small tractors.

CrossGrip tires in new sizes 440/80 R34 and 480/80 R34 are available in the OE and replacement markets.

The CrossGrip tires launched in 2018 are very popular, the company says, and the expansion will further enhance Michelin's appeal.

Part of the popular Michelin Compact Line, CrossGrip tires have a high load capacity and a special compound makes them suitable for year round use. CrossGrip tires offer a high level of performance on a variety of surfaces, including lawn and ground, and maintain excellent performance on snow, ice and loose ground. The non-directional CrossGrip tread pattern provides precise control when maneuvering in both forward and reverse gear. Sharp tread design maintains excellent traction, while asymmetrical shoulder blocks help improve road contact in winter conditions. The arrangement of the blocks reduces vibrations, increasing driving comfort.

Reinforced construction and studding capability ensure high puncture resistance and safety in winter conditions. The depth of the tread pattern makes it possible not to damage the plants during the growth period.
