Nexen unveils two new items at SEMA

Nexen brought two new tires to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) - the Nexen N'Fera Sport R semi-slick drift tires and the Nexen Roadian HTX off-road road tires.

“This is a really great time to partner with Nexen Tire as we have just introduced the next generation of tires from our rapidly expanding lineup to the US market,” said Brian Junseok Han, General Manager of Nexen America. `` We have used the knowledge gained from our test sites around the world and studied the needs of our customers to create some of the most reliable and affordable top-tier tires on the market today, and we are proud to say that the N'Fera Sport R and Roadian HTX2 gives an idea of where our company is heading. "

Nexen N'Fera Sport R (not so long ago in Japan, tires with the same name were presented, but another model will be available there) belongs to the Extreme Performance category and changes the Nexen N'Fera SUR4G tires in the brand line, which were also used by the champions Formula Drift series. Nexen says its large contact area (+ 4% over the previous model) has improved grip and, in addition, the increased proportion of fillers in the rubber compound allows the tires to warm up faster on the track.

The tires will be available in 13 sizes with a diameter of 15-19 inches and a W speed rating. Durability rating is 200.

In turn, the Roadian HTX2 replaces the first generation Roadian HTX tires, which Nexen assures are superior in providing optimal grip and handling in a variety of weather conditions. The tires are also characterized as having increased durability, while the 3PMSF mark indicates their performance on snow-covered surfaces. The sides will have two design options.

The Roadian HTX2 will be available in 51 sizes with a diameter of 16-22 inches and speed indices R, S, T and H. The guaranteed mileage is 110,000 km in P-metric sizes and 80,000 km in LT-sizes.
