Indonesia plans to cooperate with China tire industry

Indonesia, as one of the largest rubber producers in the world, opens up opportunities for cooperation with China, Antara reports.
“Only by expanding cooperation in various fields will we be able to see the significance of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Indonesia and China in the future,” said Indonesian Ambassador to China Jauhari Oratmangun.
According to him, the economic cooperation between Indonesia and China already has a solid foundation in various sectors, especially in trade, investment and tourism.
“As the world's premier rubber producer, Indonesia is also opening up opportunities for cooperation with tire manufacturers in China,” the ambassador said.
In 2019, Indonesia became the second largest exporter of natural rubber in the world with exports of US $3.9 billion.
