Giti expands the size range of GAU867v1 bus tires

Giti Tire launches the Giti GAU867v1 tire for city buses and vans in the new size 215/75R17.5.

The tire is specially designed for efficient operation in urban traffic conditions. A rigid sidewall protects it from damage from curbs, and special wear indicators show when it is time to reposition or replace.

The new Giti GAU867v1, which replaces the Giti GAR820 in this size, features an innovative body design and offers increased mileage and reduced risk of uneven wear thanks to an optimized contact patch, reinforced rubber compound and a tough tread pattern. The tire has a winter marking 3PMSF, which makes it suitable for use throughout Europe.

The Giti GAU867v1, originally marketed in 22.5-inch sizes to replace the Giti GAU861 and Giti GT867 tires, is available in 275/70R22.5, 295/80R22.5 and 11R22.5 variants.
