For the summer season 2017, Michelin is the tire MICHELIN SrossClimate updated version, which became the first representative of a new class of tires "Summer +". The new summer tire MICHELIN CrossClimate + significantly extends the life of the tire from early spring until late autumn, and is designed to provide a high level of safety of car owners in the off-season. MICHELIN CrossClimate + will replace the predecessor with 15 to 18 bore diameter and will be presented in 36 different sizes. In addition, in 2017 the tire is available in 13 sizes for SUVs.

The shape of the tread MICHELIN CrossClimate + has aimed to build a large number of sectors separated by broad drainage channels. Each sector has a special form that changes the angle of arrangement that enables efficient edges units operate as during acceleration and when maneuvering on the snow-covered surface. Two types of sipes
