Goodyear launches new Fulda SportControl 2 tires

New premium tire of Fulda brand — SportControl 2 — was introduced to the market. Goodyear company, as the owner of the brand, states that this latest generation product provides "improved performance on wet and dry roads" as well as "high quality German technology at an attractive price."

Fulda engineers have developed a modern tread design that optimizes contact with the road surface and the distribution of pressure in the tire, and provides shorter braking distances on dry and wet roads. Reduced deformation of the tread, which has been achieved at the expense of broad and stiff outer shoulder area, provides a more precise steering response on dry roads. Multiple grooves AquaFlow quickly remove water from the contact area and optimize the grip in the wet. Incorporating silica tread compound improves traffic control on a wet road surface as compared to the previous generation model.

In addition, the new product offers a long service life, and through a more lightweight design and optimized compound SportControl 2 has reduced rolling resistance.

SportControl 2 tires will be available on the market in 48 sizes.
