Export of tires from China increased by 5% in 2016

In 2016, exports of tires from China increased by 5.45%. The value of exports at the same time amounted to USD 12.89 billion, which is 6.9% below last year's figures, the average price of one tire exports decreased by 11.65% - to USD 27.52. According to analysts Research and Markets, this decline has affected a decrease in production cost of tires, due to the observed fall in the past few years, the cost of natural rubber.

In 2016, Chinese tires exported to more than 200 countries and regions, the status of the largest market for US survived. The total cost of tires exported from China to the United States, over the past year has reached USD 2.102 billion, representing 16.3% of total Chinese exports. In second place - the UK market, where China has been imported tires worth about USD 541 million (4.2% of total exports).. Furthermore, important markets for Chinese tires last year were Mexico, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Germany.

Since China's accession to the WTO, the rapid growth of bus exports led to the emergence of new trade restrictions and stricter standards, creating some difficulties for Chinese manufacturers and importers.
