Michelin has demonstrated its agricultural tires in Paris '2 in 1'

At the SIMA show in Paris Michelin company unveiled its new agricultural tire '2 in 1', which received the Gold Medal SIMA Innovations Awards in November last year. New, Michelin EvoBib, due to the technological features of the body and is able to change the tread contact area and shape. The tire is suitable for use in the field and on the road: the ultra low pressure (less than 1.2 bar) contact area increases to 20% and lowers the compaction, and the pressure increases (to more than 2 bar) form the tire changes in such a way that in contact with the road surface only continuous center rib and support bus driving comfort, fuel economy and optimum safety.

The increase in the contact area as the producer, can improve the distribution of pressure, which reduces soil compaction and increases the pulling power of the tractor.
