Black Donuts will help build a tire plant in Algeria

The new tire plant will be in the east of Algeria in Setif. The project will be implemented with the support of the Black Donuts Finnish consulting firm.

The project cost amounts to 200-250 mln. euros, and, as explained CEO of Black Donuts Kai Hauvala, it financed a kind of "private company for the production of consumer goods, today employed in the electronics segment."

Also the head of Black Donuts, said that until the plant will be small and will produce passenger cars and truck and bus tires.

The ceremony of the start of construction of the plant took place in the middle of last year, and the equipment is expected to be established by the fourth quarter 2017. Kai Hauvala said that it will supply the Finnish company Cimcorp.

Last year, in the press sounded the assumption that the Algerian energy company Sonatrach was interested in setting up production of tires with "foreign partners".
