Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires

The new hypermarket Aston Martin Valkyrie, first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, received a size 265/35ZR20 (front axle) and 325/30ZR21 (rear axle) as a Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire.

Michelin says that these tires "blur the line between motor sports and road models" - they are designed for high-performance cars and fully meet the requirements of a hypercar, created in conjunction with the racing team Red Bull Racing F1 and featuring not only an unusual design, but also enormous power.

For Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, a number of solutions are used, usually for motor sports tires: for example, Bi-Compound technology, which allows to have different compounds on the inner and outer areas of the tread, as well as Track Variable Contact Patch 3.0 technology that optimizes the pressure in the contact spot Tires in such a way that in contact with the road there is always the same amount of tread rubber.

As a result, the tire offers a perfectly balanced performance and safety performance.
