Yokohama launches new eco-tire line BluEarth

Mar 12, 2017

Yokohama Rubber company introduced a new eco-bus BluEarth-BluEarth-Es ES32, created using advanced Japanese technologies.

According to Yokohama, the novelty offers "a balanced combination of the four main characteristics of any tire - wet grip, durability, durability and fuel economy."

The tire has a new tread pattern with a wide square and "powerful" profile, responsible for stable movement and safe handling, and the special compound provides an "optimal balance" of fuel efficiency, traction and durability.

The start of sales of new items is scheduled for the spring of this year in the markets of Europe, Asia and Oceania. Gradually it will also appear in the markets of the Middle East and Latin America, but Yokohama does not plan to present it in the markets of some countries, including Japan, China, India and Russia. The company also did not comment on the possibility of the tire entering the North American market.

BluEarth-Es ES32 will be available in 73 sizes, including 17- and 18-inch versions.
