For the fifth year in a row, Yokohama Tire Corporation received the award as one of the best suppliers of Caterpillar: this year the Japanese tire manufacturer received a re-certification of the Platinum level for high quality of supply processes (SQEP). The award went to the Japanese factory Yokohama in Onomichi, which produces OTR tires for the initial equipment and replacement market.
Caterpillar's SQEP awards are awarded to suppliers who provide superior control of all supply processes, demonstrate the desire for further improvement and supply Caterpillar with high-quality products.
