Joint venture of Zeon and Sumitomo will start work in April 2017

The joint venture for development and sales of styrene-butadiene rubber, created by Zeon and Sumitomo Chemical, will begin operating on April 3 this year.
President of ZS Elastomers JV will be Kei Itoh of Zeon, and vice president - Masahiro Fukuyama of Sumitomo Chemical.
The headquarters of the new company, which will unite and oversee the sales and development activities of Zeon and Sumitomo Chemical butadiene-styrene rubbers, is in Tokyo.
Outside of Japan, ZSE will also manage product management, which is produced by the respective divisions of both companies in Singapore.
