Ewals Cargo and Goodyear renew their multi-year partnership

Goodyear has renewed its tire supply contract with the logistics services provider Ewals Cargo Care, expanding the partnership that has lasted more than 20 years. The Pan-European contract covers the supply of tires for 3000 trailers and 550 tractors, as well as a full service package for the maintenance of truck tires under the Goodyear FleetFirst program.

"Our cooperation with Goodyear is developing dynamically. Previously, we worked together to create a 435 / 50R19.5 bus, and then a version with an integrated RFID sensor, "said Bart Van Rens, managing director of Ewals Fleetcontrol. "We are convinced that the electronic identification technology allows us to improve the tracking of the tires and reduce costs. Another big step forward for our fleets is the use of the new Goodyear 'eJob' system for data recording, which allows you to instantly receive information about any work performed. I am convinced that the extension of the contract with Goodyear will lead to a fruitful expansion of partnership and cooperation. "

For Ewals heavy-duty trailers, Goodyear supplies KMAX T RFID 435 / 50R19.5 tires with integrated microchips, and winter tires ULTRA GRIP MAX are supplied in winter for Ewals in Scandinavia.

Ewals Cargo Care has 49 offices in 13 countries of Europe and is one of the recognized leaders in the logistics services market.
