Hille Korhonen appointed president and CEO of the Nokian Tyres

The Board of Directors of the concern Nokian Tyres has appointed Hille Korhonen as the new president and CEO of the concern. Hille (born in 1961) will take office on June 1, 2017.

Hille Korhonen has more than 20 years of experience in the international consumer business, has experience in managing international production operations. Ms. Korhonen was a top manager at Fiskars Oyj Abp (2008-2012) and Iittala Corporation (2003 - 2008). From 2013 to the present, Hille Korhonen takes the position of CEO at Alko Oy. Hille Korhonen has been on the board of directors of Nokian Tyres since 2006. Her nominee will not be represented in the election to the Board of Directors at the general meeting of shareholders in 2017.

Andrey Pantyukhov, who is the interim president and CEO of the concern since January 2017, will continue to fulfill his duties until Ms. Korhonen takes office. From June 1, 2017, Mr. Pantyukhov will continue to work in the concern Nokian Tyres as executive vice president of the concern and general director of the Russian division.
