The world's largest manufacturer of equipment for tires was the company HF Group

The company HF Group (Harburg - Freudenberger AG) has confirmed its status as the world's largest producer of equipment for tires and rubber products.

Despite a 5% drop in sales, the German group, which includes Farrel Ltd and Pomini Rubber & Plastics, has maintained the position of the world leader in its segment in terms of sales.

The industry edition of the European Rubber Journal annually publishes a rating of the leading companies specializing in equipment for the tire and rubber industries.

According to the publication, based on financial reports of companies, the second place in the list of leading players of this market is occupied by the Dutch company VMI, which managed to outstrip one of the leaders of the last year - the company Mesnac. After falling sales by 28% in 2016, Mesnac was able to take only the third place.

In addition, Cimcorp (+ 30%), LWB Steinl (+ 18%), Comerio Ercole (+ 15%) and Maplan (+ 12%) showed significant growth in sales, and sales of a number of other major players of this market decreased significantly: Kobe Steel fell 17%, Larsen & Toubro - 10%, and Marangoni - 55%.
