According to the Association of the Rubber Industry of China (CRIA), Zhongce Rubber Group (also known as ZC Rubber) again ranks first in the list of the most profitable Chinese tire manufacturers. Sales of the company for 2016 reached 18.38 billion yuan (RMB). In second place is the Chinese business Giti Tire with revenue of 13.14 billion yuan. Closes the top three leaders Sailun Jinyu Group, whose revenue for the year amounted to 11.19 billion yuan.
The company Doublestar, which is now trying to implement an ambitious project to buy a controlling stake in Kumho Tire, is only in sixth place - its sales for the year reached 7.26 billion yuan. Shandong Linglong in fourth place with an income of 10.5 billion yuan.
Still worth noting that now Aeolus Tire and Pirelli Tire occupy 11 and 12 lines respectively. Taking into account that both companies actually belong to ChemChina and that now they are undergoing significant organizational and structural changes, it will be interesting to see how the situation will change in a year.
