The new Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 all-season tire by Goodyear has become the leader in the all-season tire test conducted by the British publication Tire Reviews.
In the Tire Reviews test, nine tires of the popular 225/45R17 size were tested and tested on snow, dry and wet asphalt. The tests included tests for braking, handling, aquaplaning, noise levels and fuel efficiency.
The new Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 delivered superior grip and performance on wet and snowy roads, the lowest rolling resistance of any competitor and good ride comfort.
The tire is designed with Snow Grip technology, which enhances the grip of the tread on the snow. Dry Handling technology, in turn, improves the tire's performance on dry asphalt. The optimized symmetrical tread pattern improves the tire's aquaplaning resistance. Wide grooves quickly remove snow, water and slush from the contact patch, and numerous cutting edges of the pattern improve grip on winter roads, when climbing, descending and turning. Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 reinforced shoulder blocks improve the tire's handling on dry asphalt.
“We are delighted that our new Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 tire took first place in this important test,” commented Mike Rytokoski, Chief Marketing Officer for Goodyear Europe. "Goodyear has been in the all-season tire market for over 30 years and we have a wealth of knowledge and experience to create tires that perform effectively all year round in all weather conditions."
