Two Kumho tires receive the Good Design Avard award

Kumho has been honored with the Good Design Award 2020 for two new tires: the Solus HA32 and the PorTran CW11.

The South Korean tire manufacturer, which has already received the iF Design and Red Dot Award as well as the American IDEA Design Award, has now won all four of the world's top design awards for the year.

The HA32 all-season tire is based on an advanced compound that, in combination with a V-shaped tread pattern and zig-zag sipes, significantly improves the tire's performance on wet asphalt. Special 3D sipes provide impressive handling in all weather conditions.

The PorTran CW11 winter tire for light commercial vehicles is optimized for use on snowy and icy roads in the coldest regions of Europe. Reinforced center blocks and high-strength construction improve traction and tire stability, while zig-zag grooves located in the center and shoulder areas of the tread provide quick water drainage from the contact patch and good grip on snow.

Kumho has received the Good Design Award 2020 in the Transportation Equipment and Industrial Facilities category.
