Cooper Tire & Rubber moved the central office of its Mexican unit from El Salto to Guadalajara.
The new office will house a division of marketing, sales, customer service, logistics and finance, serving the Latin American market. According to Cooper, the growth of the company in Latin America is an important part of its global strategic plan.
"With the opening of new markets in the region, the growth of tire production at our joint venture near Guadalajara, the expansion of our product distribution, the emergence of a new central office will help us provide excellent services in the region," said Luis Ceneviz, managing director of tire business Cooper in Latin America and Europe.
