The Continental PLT Division, dealing with passenger and light truck tires, reports that since January 1 of this year, the development of winter tires for the division is headed by Marco Gellings.
Earlier, Gellings, who has been with Continental since 2001, led the development of the company's summer tires for the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
Since February 1, development of summer tires Conti for the region is managed by Denise Ewald, who has been cooperating with the company since 2006 and previously was responsible for the development of the original equipment for French automakers. The immediate head of Gellings and Ewald will be Burkhard Wies, head of tire development at Continental.
