Continental introduced a new rebuilt commercial-grade tires ContiRe Hybrid HD3, restored in a "hot" way and identical to the tread pattern of the Hybrid HD3.
The new ContiRe tires are available in sizes 295 / 80R22.5, 315 / 70R22.5 and 315 / 80R22.5. When used, they use rubber compounds as for new tires, and as a result, the restored tires retain all the advantages of the Hybrid HD3, including reduced weight, optimized rolling resistance and high driving comfort.
The tread pattern ContiRe Hybrid HD3 includes blocks and numerous 3D slats with a depth of about 2/3 of the tread; And due to the increased stability of the blocks, it improves the wear resistance of the tire, and also enhances the grip during acceleration and braking, including on wet roads. ContiRe Hybrid HD3 tires have winter marking M + S and 3PMSF.
"Refurbished tires contribute greatly to reducing fleet costs," said Ralph Benack, director of the Continental EMEA Reconditioned Truck Division. "We are constantly expanding our range of hot-recovered tires, and the Conti Hybrid range, created for regional and long-distance transport, is particularly important due to its wide range of applications. Conti Hybrid tires have already earned an excellent reputation among users due to their long life and economy."
In the production of ContiRe tires, the new rubber is superimposed on the whole frame and then vulcanized with it, which significantly increases the strength of the tires. All ContiRe tires have the same warranty as the new Continental tires.
