ADAC and Conti will improve safety on German roads

The largest public organization of motorists in Germany ADAC and Continental are joining forces to increase safety on the roads of Germany.

As part of the project, the tire manufacturer will partner with eleven Safe Driving Centers organized by ADAC throughout the country. Partners believe that the joint project will ideally complement their own programs to increase road safety.

"The ADAC organization, which has extensive experience in the field of technical expertise of cars and road technologies, as well as well-equipped safe driving training centers, is an ideal partner for us," said Nikolai Setzer, member of the Continental board of directors and head of the tire division. "We are joining forces to protect the roads from accidents, and in addition, we are going to recall some simple safety rules, such as regular pressure checks and the depth of the tread pattern."

This cooperation, added Zetzer, complements Conti's participation in the campaign Stop the Crash, which is organized by Global NCAP.
