Continental is preparing to release three new General brand tires on the American market

Continental Tire the Americas company at a recent meeting in Mexico with its regional dealers introduced several new products, which this year enter the US market.

In April, the novelty of the General brand for light commercial vehicles - Grabber HD - will be on sale. The tire is created using the technology Conti Duragen, which increases its resistance to cuts and damage, as well as extend the life of the tread. The reinforced shoulder area and the protection of the sidewalls protect the tires from damage from curbs. Initially, the tire will be available in 11 sizes.

Another novelty is the all-season premium General G-Max AS-05, which will replace the G-Max AS-03 model. The G-Max AS-05 tire has an asymmetric tread pattern that reduces noise on the move and prevents uneven wear. Due to the SmartGrip technology, the novelty offers sporty handling and confident all-season grip under all road conditions, including on a snow-covered road. In addition, the technology StabiliTread increases the life of the tread, and the system of indicators Smart Monitors allows you to notice the critical level of wear in time.

Tires G-Max AS-05 enter the market in May this year in 54 sizes, covering 90% of market needs.

For the winter season, Continental will offer the General AltiMax Arctic 12 tire. The new studded tire replaces the AltiMax Arctic model and offers extended life and enhanced grip on snow and ice. AltiMax Arctic 12 will be available in 47 sizes; The supplies to dealers should begin in the summer.
