Pirelli became a partner of the International Federation of Old Car Owners

The International Federation of Old Car Owners (FIVA) reported that Pirelli Tire S.p.A. becomes its official tire partner. Also Pirelli will be a technical consultant for all FIVA partner organizations.

The multi-year agreement was signed at the moment of Pirelli's interest in old and classic cars, as evidenced by the ever-expanding line of tires "Pirelli Collezione", designed specifically for automotive classics.

The main purpose of FIVA is to encourage the safe use of cars older than 30 years, and this, Pirelli notes, is very beneficial for owners of these cars and other road users. FIVA also deals with cataloging and accounting for historic vehicles. FIVA includes over 85 organizations from more than 62 countries of the world, representing the interests of fans of old cars.

Pirelli creates tires for vintage cars in partnership with various automakers. The appearance of these tires completely corresponds to the original models, and the performance and characteristics meet all modern standards. For example, experts Pirelli created five tires for older models of Porsche, and also with the participation of engineers Jaguar Land Rover have developed special tires for the super car Jaguar XJ220.
