For the second year in a row, Bridgestone has been named in the STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index, which ranks leading international sustainability companies in terms of environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.
STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index is a stock index created by the Swiss STOXX Ltd., a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse AG. The index includes international companies that are leaders in the field of sustainable development in terms of environmental, social and governance parameters. The metrics are provided by Sustainalytics, a leading independent global company that conducts research and ratings on environmental, social and governance performance for investors.
The Japanese company regards Bridgestone's inclusion in the STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index 2020 as a high assessment of its social initiatives carried out within the framework of its medium-term business strategy.
