Bridgestone Tire Wins First Place in ADAC Trials

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 flagship winter tire won first place in the winter studless tire test conducted by the German automotive association ADAC.
In addition to Bridgestone, 14 other tire brands were tested, and the Blizzak LM005 was able to achieve maximum scores and showed balanced performance on dry and snowy roads as well as good handling on wet asphalt.
The tire is made from Bridgestone Nano ProTech compound with a high silica content, due to which the material retains the necessary flexibility at low temperatures. The compound is formulated by Bridgestone to provide maximum grip and optimize tire performance on wet road surfaces and snow.
Zig-zag grooves on the Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 tread pattern improve water drainage from the contact patch and improve grip on winter roads. In addition, the tire features good fuel economy and a comfortably low noise level.
