Montblanc unveils Pirelli mini tire collection

German luxury goods company Montblanc and Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli have unveiled a joint limited edition collection of exclusive suitcases.

The lightweight polycarbonate case from the Montblanc-Pirelli collection is black with red rubberized leather inserts. The suitcases are equipped with specially designed Pirelli rubber compound wheels for durability and quiet running. These wheels are based on the premium Pirelli P Zero tires - they have the same asymmetrical pattern as the P Zero and offer a 10% reduction in noise levels compared to the conventional wheels used for the German luxury brand's suitcases. The wheels also have a dynamic appearance reminiscent of real car sports rims, and the suitcase handles are laser-engraved with Montblanc x Pirelli.

This is not the first time the company has partnered with a tire and car specialist: last year Montblanc teamed up with BMW to create a limited edition accessories.

The Montblanc Pirelli suitcases are limited to 3,000 pieces and have been available in Montblanc boutiques since November 2020.
